first of a series (Makataimeshekiakiak)

Makataimeshekiakiak, or better known as Black Hawk was a Sauk War Chief who unified a small band(roughly 1,000) of Sauk, Fox, Hochunk, and Pottawatomie warriors to take back lands that had been wrongfully sold to the U.S. goverment in 1831. It ultimatly was coined "Black Hawk War" and spaned North Central Illinois, Eastern Iowa, and Southern Wisconsin.
